What data we collect
When you contact us through the website, by phone or by email we collect: name, contact details (email, phone, postcode), the brief you share with us, and project address if relevant to a quotation. During an active engagement we collect signed contracts, drawings, photographs of the site, and payment details. We do not collect special-category personal data unless the project specifically requires it.
How we use your data
We use your data to respond to enquiries, prepare and send quotes, manage projects, comply with our legal obligations as a UK contractor (Construction Industry Scheme, HMRC reporting, building control submissions), and to process payments. Your data is processed lawfully under contract performance and legitimate interest grounds.
Who we share data with
We share data only where strictly necessary: with our subcontractors and suppliers (named in advance for each project), with your appointed architect or structural engineer, with statutory bodies (building control, conservation officer, planning), with our accountants and tax advisors. We never sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
How long we keep data
Project records are kept for twelve years from practical completion (the period during which a structural defect claim can be brought under English law). Marketing enquiries that did not become projects are kept for two years and then deleted.
Your rights
